Microsoft 365 is offering several accessibility features that can help boost productivity and create a more inclusive work environment. These features are designed to make content creation and sharing accessible to a diverse range of people, including those with disabilities.

Accessibility Checker

This free tool identifies most accessibility issues in Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, PowerPoint, and Visio. It offers suggestions on how to resolve each issue.

Live captions

This feature captures live events, presentations, and meetings in real-time. It is available in Teams and can be translated into multiple languages. This feature is beneficial for people who are deaf or hard of hearing, as well as people who are in noisy environments or who are attending meetings in a language other than their native language.

Screen readers

Screen readers speak the screen contents to people who are blind or have low vision. You can make sure that your content works well with a screen reader by using the Accessibility Checker to check the reading order in PowerPoint.

These accessibility features are available to all Insiders, ensuring that Microsoft 365 users can create and share content that is inclusive and accessible to people with a wide range of abilities.
