For Insiders waiting on the next Windows 10 Mobile Preview build, the wait is officially over. Today, Gabe Aul of the Windows team announced a late-day release of Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview Build 14342 to Fast Ring participants.
Unfortunately, today’s release is less feature oriented and a more point upgrade. Fast Ring Insiders updating today will see a massive, sub-point upgrade from 14342.1003 to 14342.1004.

The changelog for the update appears to remain the same with an updated note from the Windows team that includes mention of:
UPDATE 5/25: We are releasing Build 14342.1004 today for Windows Insiders in the Fast ring. This build is exactly the same but with some additional fixes including a fix for the battery life issues we were seeing on some devices such as the Lumia 930, 929 and others which was also causing these devices to get hot.
We’re sorry to temper the usual excitement that accompanies a new build release, but it seems as though the Windows team is in a full fix and polish mode when it comes to build releases, at least for the next few months until the Anniversary Update is released. For those experiencing battery issues in particular, head over to your Update settings menu and try out the release today.
Happy downloading, Insiders!
