Microsoft has started rolling out new firmware updates for all Surface Laptop 3 models with Intel processors (via Neowin). The most notable fix that comes with the update addresses issues related to the Surface Laptop 3 automatic brightness adjustment at low brightness scenarios. The latest batch also aims to improve device stability and battery reliability.
For the owners of a Surface Laptop 3 with an Intel processor, the new firmware updates are available for devices running Windows 10 May 2019 Update, or newer. You can see the full changelog below:
- Surface UEFI – Firmware: 7.124.140.0: Addresses issues related to the automatic brightness adjustment at low brightness.
