Everyone’s favorite adolescent anthropomorphic amphibians (well, reptiles) are back in the latest Minecraft DLC crossover event. And it’s just in time for the premiere of the latest Ninja Turtles movie: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, which releases today in movie theaters everywhere!

The new TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES Minecraft DLC isn’t based on the movie, however. Rather, it’s a “blocky celebration of the 1987 cartoon that made every kid adopt their own renaissance reptile,” according to Minecraft.net.

What’s included in the DLC? Well, you get to play as any of the four Turtles and there are official TMNT skins available. You’ll also be able to face off against “gnarly” enemies like Leatherhead, Bebop, Rocksteady, Krang and Master Shredder.

You’ll also be able to visit iconic TMNT Big Apple locales like the Channel 6 building, downtown NYC and…um, the sewers. The TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES DLC is available on the Minecraft Marketplace.

And what better way to play than with Microsoft’s new pizza-scented Xbox Controller, released to celebrate the new TMNT movie launch. The sweepstakes to win one of these is still open through August 13.
