Three Assassin’s Creed titles will be free to play this weekend in a special standalone event. One of these titles—The Ezio Collection—includes a three-in-one pack, making a total of 5 games playable as part of this free weekend. These five games are listed below.

  • Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag
  • Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
  • Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection (includes Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed Revelations)

Each of these games are the standard editions. The inclusion of the most recent mainline entry in the series—Assassin’s Creed Valhalla—is particularly nice.

Apparently this will be separate from this Xbox Free Play Days event (assuming of course there will be one this week). However, you will need Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to take advantage of this free Assassin’s Creed weekend event. It will be available from August 10-14.

Additionally, the Assassin’s Creed franchise will be having a big sale during this period, with games discounted by as much as 85%. Well worth checking out for fans of the franchise.

Also, preorders for the next title in the series, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, are now live on the Xbox Store.
