Greetings OnPodcast viewers and listeners. We’re back again this Sunday at 12 PM ET/ 9 AM PT for another episode. It’s been a busy week, and we’re here to recap it all, especially the Windows 11 news. You won’t want to miss the podcast as we promise it’s going to be a fun one.
To kick off our show, we’ll be talking about everything you need to know about Windows 11. Since last week’s episode focused on the UI changes in the unofficial leaked build, this week, we’ll just be mentioning everything that’s changed since then and everything new in the official Windows 11 release coming next week. If you didn’t already know, some of those new features includes a new Microsoft Store app with Android apps, performance improvements, a new chat app powered by Teams, gaming improvements, and more. We’ll have you covered with everything you need to know about the new Windows 11!
Other than what’s new in Windows 11, we’ll also talk about the controversy around how you can get Windows 11 on your PC. We’ll guide you through the sticky situation going on with Microsoft’s PC Health Check app, and talk about some workarounds and some possible updates to the app coming soon.
For our fast recap, we’ll be speeding you through some non-Windows11 news from the week. That includes Continue on PC on iPad and iPhone being discontinued, a new Outlook extension for Edge, Xbox Cloud Gaming updates, and new Designed for Xbox HDMI 2.1 monitors from Philips, ASUS, and Acer.
Then, to end up what should be a momentous podcast, in the Week Ahead we’re talking about our Microsoft Modern Webcam and modern USB-C speaker impressions. We’re also looking ahead to how you can download Windows 11 next week, and all the news coming out around what should be the first beta build.
