Windows 8.1 9471

It appears a near-final build of Windows 8.1 has leaked onto the internet just days before the official RTM is expected to be announced. Build 9471 is considered to be pretty much feature complete as it was compiled a little over two weeks ago. Not much is known about the build yet, but we can confirm that it has leaked. The leak is a 64-bit variant.

From screenshots, we can see that there is a new tutorial mode when logging into Windows for the first time. We will dive into the build as soon as we get our hands on it to see what’s new. As it is a near final build we can expect to see additional improvements over the Windows 8.1 Preview.

The leak comes just days after screenshots of build 9471’s setup screen leaked. The leak comes from the same source who leaked most of the previous Windows 8.1 builds.

We will not be giving direct links out as we do not recommend you download pre-release materials. Stay tuned at WinBeta for more news regarding the leak!
