Microsoft has just released a new build to the Windows 11 Release Preview Channel (original release), bumping the build number up to 22000.1163. This build contains (or might contain) two new improvements:
- New! We added improvements to Windows search results and performance.
- New! We added Task Manager to the context menu when you right-click the taskbar. This feature rolls out in the coming weeks.
There’s also a long line of fixes, for everything from DCOM authentication hardening to tasks scheduled to run every two weeks running every week instead, to issues affecting Microsoft Direct3D 9 games, to issues with Edge IE mode, to updates failing and more.
