Microsoft has released another Canary Channel build for Windows 11 Insiders today, bringing the build number to 25926. This new build, as has been the case for Canary Channel builds so far, is light on anything new or exciting, but does include some new features that have previously been included in Windows 11 Dev Channels releases.
According to the blog post, these include:
- Windows Ink improvements
- a better screen casting experience
- local file sharing improvements (already available in Canary Channel build 25921)
- “and more”
Canary Channel build 25926 also includes a change to the notifications bell in the taskbar, and new color intensity settings, although these lack labels for the Intensity and Color boost sliders.
25926 also fixes a known issue from 25921 that caused devices with mobile broadband connections to not connect to a wireless network.
And finally, Windows 11 Insider build 25926 begins the rollout of an update to the Snipping Tool (version 11.2306.43.0 and higher) that adds edit buttons to edit screenshots in Paint and screen recordings in Clipchamp. These changes are rolling out to Insiders in both the Canary and Dev Channels.
