After announcing a preview back at Computex, Microsoft today revealed that it is now bringing Windows 10 IoT Core Services to public preview. The company detailed the pricing and purchasing plans and promises that the service can help partners “monetize their solutions by creating a business model that provides ongoing long-term value.”

Once launched, Windows 10 IoT Core Services will be available through an Azure subscription, priced at $0.30 per device per month. Currently, it is priced at $0.15 per month, and Partners enrolled in the Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program can later this year resell the service and establish ongoing relationships with their customers. OEMs can also license the service with a device by pre-paying.

Windows 10 IoT Core is royalty-free OS, and Windows 10 IoT Core Services is a paid offering that can be added on. IoT Core Services come with 10 years of support, and extras which help manage device health and updates. You can learn more by checking here.
