Microsoft has today released a new Windows 10 build for Windows Insiders which includes a number of new changes and features. Along with this release, the company has announced that todays build is the last build being issued out to the public this year, and that more awaits in early 2015.
Microsoft made said announcement in a blog post, which says:
This will be the last new build of the year for Windows Insiders, … we’ll keep working to build Windows 10 into something that you’ll love. We’ll have something new to share with you early in 2015, and don’t forget to check out Insider Hub to stay in touch.
So consider this that summer vacation between school semesters. You say goodbye to your friends, and you go off doing your own thing for a couple months, seeing your friends back in school after the summer vacation. Microsoft has lots to share regarding Windows 10 in 2015, so 9879 being the last build this year means lots of interesting things are in store for Windows Insiders.
If you want to stay in the know regarding Windows 10, make sure you stay tuned to WinBeta over the coming weeks. Although Microsoft may not be issuing out any more preview builds, the company is still compiling them and issuing them out to partners, meaning it probably won’t be long before we hear about more changes to the operating system.
