LinkedIn has recently made some moves to push video content on its platform, introducing new filters and text features on its mobile apps, as well as video captions. Well, you may soon see even more videos on the professionnal social network as Vimeo, one of the oldest video-sharing websites on the Internet, has announced a new integration with LinkedIn. The move is inline with Vimeo’s recent shift from a video viewing source to concentrating on tech and tools for video publishers.
Thanks to this new partnership, Vimeo users will be able to publish their videos to LinkedIn company pages with a single click. Vimeo’s new Publish to Social feature will also support other social networks such as Facebook and Twitter, and it will provide content creators aggregated video analytics right from the Vimeo dashboard.
“Video has become one of the key drivers for member engagement on LinkedIn, and businesses who want to start a conversation with their audiences are increasingly turning to Company Page videos,”said Peter Roybal, principal product manager at LinkedIn. “Our new integration with Vimeo is an exciting step for anyone who wants to gain more exposure, and understand their reach to LinkedIn’s highly-engaged professional audiences,” he added.
