The Oculus Rift is becoming a popular virtual reality solution for PC gamers, creating a new industry of VR-ready gaming machines and receiving support from Microsoft in terms of VR support in its popular Minecraft gaming title. Today, Oculus has announced that it’s shipping the Oculus Rift in Canada and throughout Europe.

We’re excited to announce that Rift is coming to retail in Europe and Canada September 20!
Rift availability and in-store demos are expanding to new retail partners, including:
- UK: Amazon.co.uk, John Lewis, Curry’s PCWorld, GAME Digital Plc, and the London department store Harrods.
- France: Amazon.fr and FNAC.
- Germany: Amazon.de, MediaMarkt, and Saturn.
- Canada: Best Buy and Microsoft Store Online.
You can order Rift online from retailers in Europe and Canada starting today, and they’ll start shipping and be available in-store September 20. The suggested retail price in Europe is £549/€699.
