Nokia Lumia 1020 now up for pre-order at Best Buy and AT&T, $299 on contract

Nokia unveiled its new Lumia 1020 smartphone, powered by Windows Phone 8, just recently and now you can pre-order the device via Best Buy or AT&T. The device includes a 41-megapixel camera and is available for $299 via pre-order as an AT&T exclusive smartphone.

AT&T has the device for $299 on contract and you can purchase the smartphone online. Overnight shipping will run you nearly $15 but you can opt for the free priority shipping. There is no in-store availability option, you will have to wait for the device to be shipped to you upon release. A few accessories have also surfaced, ranging from $35 to $60 in price. Best Buy is also offering the Lumia 1020 as a pre-order. You can snag either the yellow, black, or white device for a contract price of $299. The device is has a 4.5 inch screen, and supports 2GB of RAM along with a 1.5 Ghz dual-core S4 processor. The camera is a 6-lens Ziess camera and can shoot images at 38-megapixels. It can take oversampled 5MP images, and can take 1080p video recording with 4x zoom. The camera is so advanced on the Lumia 1020 that Nokia is releasing their own Camera app to accommodate the many options the new 41MP camera has.
