Microsoft’s official Cortana apps for iOS (Version 2.6.3) and Android (Version 2.9.8.2007-enus-release) have updated with an improved feedback function and (finally) support for users in Canada. Cortana has been available for Canadian users on Windows 10 devices but had yet to come to iOS or Android smartphones until now.
Microsoft has been frustratingly slow to give full Cortana support to users outside of the US with most regions still falling behind when it comes to the number of features or skills that the American Cortana has. Australians have Cortana on Windows 10 and smartphones for example but the digital assistant still can’t connect to smart home devices and is completely missing from Xbox One consoles.
