Microsoft rolls out several new updates for Windows 8.1, improves your experience – onmsft.com

Windows 8.1

Microsoft has rolled out a few updates for Windows 8.1 Preview, for those of you who are on the operating system which the software giant released to the masses June 26th. As part of July 2013 Patch Tuesday, Microsoft released the first batch of updates for Windows 8.1 and today we get our second batch.

Here are the updates rolling out now via Windows Update:

  • KB2868208: ListView does not scroll smoothly in Windows 8.1 Preview
  • KB2863312: Compatibility update for Windows RT 8.1 Preview and Windows 8.1 Preview: June 2013
  • KB2868581: Update improves file search experience on SkyDrive in Windows 8.1 Preview
  • KB2867624: Repeatedly offered update for a nonpresent device in Windows 8.1 Preview or Windows RT 8.1 Preview
  • KB2866763: Single sign-on (SSO) does not work for VPN connections that use certificate authentication in Windows 8.1 Preview

These updates address Windows 8.1 RT and Windows 8.1. Head over to Windows Update to snag these updates, unless you have Automatic Updates enabled. Let us know in the comments below if you notice anything new or different.
