Unlike last week’s update, Microsoft’s latest Edge Dev build is significantly small coming in at version 114.0.1793.0. The update adds no new features, but it does come with the usual reliability improvements.

Here’s everything you need to know:

Improved reliability:

  • Fixed browser crash when clicking on the Workspaces menu after exiting full screen mode.
  • Android:
    • Fixed Read Aloud crash.
    • Fixed browser crash when tapping the Clear button on History hub.
    • Fixed browser crash after tapping on Undo after closing all tabs.

Changed behavior:

  • Fixed can’t mute audio on inactive tabs with Vertical tab.
  • Android:
    • Fixed white blank wallpaper after existing Wallpaper center.
  • WebView2:
    • Fixed EnsureCoreWebView2Async not completing the load operation (#3375)

The update should roll out to users automatically, however, if this is not the case, you can trigger the update manually by visiting Edge’s Settings menu, then click on Help and Feedback, select About Microsoft Edge, and then wait for the browser to download the update.
