The Windows 10 event is currently underway and Microsoft has just unveiled that Universal Apps will run on the Xbox One. Universal Apps first came to life on Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8.1 that allowed developers to write apps once and have it available on all of the desktop, the tablet and the phone. It also allowed for a single-price model where customers will only need to buy the app once and have it available on all their devices. Now, Universal Apps are coming to the Xbox One, expanding developer reach and making it a better deal for customers to buy apps.
More on this as it develops. Stay tuned for more!
