It was just last week that we reported to you on Bing’s Oscars’ activities. From helping you discover which celebrity you looked like, to Cortana’s Oscar Savvy trivia, and even Bing’s Prediction engine guesses for each category at the Oscars, Bing had Hollywood’s biggest nights covered from the Red Carpet all the way to the final award.

Well, it turns out that Bing’s predictions for Hollywood’s biggest night were indeed correct. As anyone who followed the event will know, Leonardo DiCaprio won the Oscar for Best Actor and Brie Larson won the Oscar for Best Actress.  Unlike its performance in predicting the Super Bowl, the power behind Bing’s prediction engine got these categories right this time around.

Bing has a pretty good record when it comes to the Oscars, as last year it successfully predicted 20 out of 24 categories.  As for Leonardo, his sixth nomination was the charm and he finally brought home his first Oscar.
