If you’re a fan of Minecraft and the popular Cartoon Network series Adventure Time, then the best of both worlds have just come together for you. Mojang has announced that Adventure Time is coming to Minecraft Console Edition, and also soon to Pocket and Windows 10 versions of the game.
This means that the most popular of the Adventure Time characters, including Finn, Jake, Ice King, Marceline, and Princess Bubblegum, will all be playable in Minecraft. You’ll also be able to enjoy the full world of Adventure Time, meaning that you will be able to remake the show and take Take Fionna and Cake on a tour of the Candy Kingdom, fight Ice King in the Ice Kingdom. The update is rolling out
The update is rolling out now across Console Editions of Minecraft, and will soon roll out to the Wii U version as well. Pocket and Windows 10 users, meanwhile, should expect the mash-up pack soon. There have been a few notable Minecraft updates in the past few weeks, including the Greek mythology mash-up pack, The Code Builder update for Minecraft Education, and the release of Minecraft stickers for iOS.
