Microsoft is now offering the Lumia 650 for sale through the Microsoft Store in the US and Canada. Thanks to a report by Neowin, the Lumia 650 is reportedly priced at $199.00 (USD and CAD) and is the newest Windows 10 Mobile device (check out WinBeta’s review). The Lumia 650 is an unlocked Dual SIM device that is compatible with GSM carriers and runs the latest Windows 10 Mobile build.
The Lumia 650 has a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 1.3 GHz processor, 1 GB RAM, 16 GB on-board storage with a microSD card slot that supports up to 200 GB microSD card expansion. Like the Lumia 550, the Lumia 650 does not offer Continuum support.
This may be the last Lumia that Microsoft will make in 2016 as Microsoft has chosen to “downplay” Windows phones and instead focus on Windows 10, Azure, and other Microsoft software and technologies. For just $199, the Lumia 650 is a good deal, considering the Lumia 950 and 950 XL fetch upwards of $600 a piece.
