The Bing team in India is on an overdrive, clearly. After partnering with Zomato to offer restaurant search and reviews in a seamless fashion few months ago, Microsoft has partnered with Practo to help people search and choose the best doctors around them using Bing.

Founded in 2008, Practo is one of the leading healthcare services in the country and helps users in assessing health issues, finding the right doctor, and managing records securely. For doctors and health practitioners, Practo offers a definitive platform to build their presence, to grow their practice or business, and to engage their patients in newer ways.

If you search for a doctor or specialization, Bing will now show profiles of doctors along with their qualifications, experience, specializations, and availability. You can also see the feedback and recommendations by the patients, helping you to select the ideal doctor nearby.

The collaboration will enable an easier and effective search for people looking for right medical advice. Bing users will be able to search and access details of doctors across 38 different cities in ten regional languages, apart from English. Users will be able to not just search for the best of doctors, but piggybacking on Practo, also book doctor appointments online, consult online with doctors, order medicines and lab tests, store health records and even read health articles written by these doctors.
