As Bing continues to grow, both in users, search volume and advertisers, Microsoft continues to add additional features to improve the experience.
When searching for products on Bing, such as Microsoft’s Surface Book or Samsung’s Galaxy S7, Bing will show Product Ads from advertisers running online stores. Microsoft has made a slight adjustment to these Product Ads, where reviews and ratings for the merchant and advertiser are taken into account.
If the merchant is classed as being highly rated, that advertisers’ ads will now show a green tick before its name, signalling that it is trusted amongst other customers.
This addition has been spotted in the United Kingdom so far. It is aimed to help consumers create a more informed decision on which merchant to purchase from before clicking on the ad.
