Microsoft’s CEO for the Greater China region, Simon Leung confirmed that they are aiming to top iPhone sales in China with Microsoft’s Windows Phone mobile platform. The company wants to be the top in terms of mobile sales in China.

As Forbes reports, Microsoft is aiming to beat iPhone sales in China. As Apple and Google dominate the mobile market shares in the country, Microsoft’s priority is not just beating Apple but also placing Google in the second spot after the launch of first Windows Phone on Wednesday.

Microsoft mentioned recently that the company will help designers and developers to convert their iOS applications to Windows 8 applications. This only show how Apple brought a great impact to the smartphone industry and Microsoft is aiming to beat them.
