Microsoft’s Build 2016 developer conference is currently underway, and Microsoft has just announced that it will start to sell the first Azure IoT Start Kits starting at $50. These kits include development boards that are ‘Azure Certified for IoT’, sensors and actuators, and developers will also get user-friendly tutorials to help them seamlessly connect their devices to the cloud with Microsoft Azure IoT.
Microsoft has been recently working to connect its Azure cloud services to Internet of Things devices, and after introducing the Azure IoT Suite in late 2015 which was followed by the Azure IoT Hub a few weeks ago, these new Azure IoT kits will now allow developers to quickly build IoT prototypes that leverage all Azure’s IoT offerings.
