Another Windows 8.1 pre-RTM screenshot leaks, reveals build 9471 setup screen

Windows 8.1 9471

Our second post Windows 8.1 Preview screenshot has made its way onto the internet revealing yet another build string for us to feast our eyes on before official RTM. This time, we get to take a look at the setup screen, which as you can see hasn’t changed at all since we last saw it.

Build 9471 isn’t RTM-escrow, but we do know that it was compiled on the 26th July 2013. So this is a much more recent build than what we previously saw with build 9456. We can assume build 9471 is pretty much feature complete, so differences between this build and the official RTM will be small.

What’s interesting to note is that this screenshot comes from a well-known leaker who was responsible for many of the Windows Blue leaks earlier this year. It’s entirely possible that build 9471 will leak, but wouldn’t make much sense as the official RTM is literally around the corner. Still, wouldn’t hurt to play with it for a bit before then.

For those who are interested, the full buildstring reads: 9471.fbl_partner_out30.130726-2004

Of course, take what you see with some salt as it could be a fake.
