The cat is out of the bag for Samsung’s ArtPC Pulse. Even though Samsung hasn’t made an official announcement of their own, Amazon has shared the information and specs before their time according to an article from Sammy Hub.
The main appeal of the Samsung ArtPC Pulse is that the desktop tower is a very compact and circular case. Measuring 5.5 x 5.5 x 12.2 inches, the tower also has a lighting effect. The 360° design also homes a Harmon kardon Omni-directional speaker for those times when having sound in one direction just isn’t enough.
There are two versions of the desktop. For the cheaper version, you can pay $1,199.99 USD for an Intel i5 and 8GB DDR4 RAM with only 256GB SSD. Otherwise, you can spring for $1,599.99 USD for an Intel i7 processor, 16GB DDR4 RAM, and a full 1TB HDD added onto the 256GB space you get from the solid state drive.
As to be expected, both come with Windows 10 Home Signature Edition pre-installed. According to the product pages, you can pre-order the Samsung ArtPC Pulse now but it won’t be released until October 28. That means Samsung should be making an announcement soon enough.
