According to a series of tweets by Ina Fried, Microsoft will give $650 to MacBook Pro and MacBook Air owners who would want to trade the Apple devices for a Surface Book or a Surface Pro.

Announced on the sidelines of the Windows 10 event in NYC earlier today, the trade-in program starts on October 27 – the day when Apple is expected to announce its new range of MacBooks. Microsoft believes that the Surface devices offer more features and versatility, along with touchscreen, to interest existing MacBook users.
The trade-in offer is available at Microsoft Stores in the US as well as online.
