Xbox one features missing on launch day, microsoft says coming soon

Calling all Xbox One gamers! If you want to stream your amazing gameplay, you’re in tough luck. Although the Xbox One does allow you to stream gameplay via Twitch, which is the largest live streaming platform for gamers, you won’t be able to do it now, you’re just going to have to wait.

Twitch on the Xbox One makes it easy to show the world your skills. You can broadcast your gameplay and your voice, making the experience hassle-free without all those cables connecting to your DVR’s and computers.

The Xbox Wire staff stated, “We know the ability to instantly broadcast gameplay is something the gaming community is excited about, and we are too. We are working to ensure the initial Twitch on Xbox One broadcasting experience meets the expectations of the Twitch community, so while this feature won’t be available right away, we’ll let you know as soon as it is ready.”

While the PS4 already has this feature since launch, Microsoft doesn’t. This can be a real problem to those hardcore gamers who just want to share their experienced gaming abilities. What’s more of a problem is that their goal is to deliver it during Q1 of 2014. That’s not very specific, because it can range from January 2014 to March 2014. Another problem that many seem important to some is that you need a Gold Xbox Live membership, unlike the PS4, where it’s open for everyone.

Speaking of problems, apparently, users can’t video chat on Skype with the application snapped, like how you saw it in one of their advertisements. The feature will be available in the near future. It’s shocking how this feature was advertised prior to launch and yet it’s not available yet. But the good thing for now is that you can still audio chat via Skype in the background, allowing you to still plan your tactics with your friends without any problems.

Do these two features impact your opinion on whether you should get the Xbox One or the PS4? Why or why not? Comment below!
