If you’re a Skype user, you can now generate images using the Bing Image Creator within the platform. Microsoft released the image generation tool in creator mode earlier this year to help users create images using their own words.

The tool is powered by OpenAI’s DALL∙E model and is essentially in place to help enhance the new Bing and Edge experience by providing users with better search, complete answers, a new chat experience, and the ability to create content. According to Microsoft, the tool helps accelerate comprehension as the human brain processes images 60,000 times faster than texts.
As might already be aware. Bing Chat made its way to Bing, Edge mobile apps, and Skype earlier this year shortly after Microsoft debuted its copilot for the web, the new Bing. Microsoft deeply integrated the new Bing in Skype in a bid to provide users with a comprehensive and creative source of information, inspiration, and answers to questions all within the chat interface.
And now, with the Bing Image Creator rolling out to Skype users, the experience will be enhanced further. It’ll now be easier for users to communicate, as they can now incorporate images into their chat. For instance, the tool would’ve made my work easier while planning a trip using Bing in a Skype group chat.
In related news, Microsoft quietly started watermarking images generated using Bing Image Creator to ensure that it would be easier for users to identify AI-generated content.
