Windows 11 Release Preview Insiders get a ton of new stuff with build 22621.1926

Last month, Microsoft began rolling out a Windows configuration update for all editions of Windows 11 version 22H2, and now those changes are beginning to roll out to the Release Preview Channel with build 22621.1926.

Here’s a quick list of everything new in this build:

  • Improvements to several simplified Chinese fonts and the IME
  • Quick access to your Microsoft account information with notification badging
  • Improved sharing of files from File Explorer to Outlook
  • Improvements to Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
  • Ability to authenticate across Microsoft clouds
  • Live captions for more languages
  • A redesigned in-app voice command help page
  • Voice access command support for a number of English dialects
  • New text selection and editing voice access commands
  • A VPN status icon
  • A System Tray setting for seconds on the clock
  • A 2FA code copy function
  • Multi-app kiosk mode
  • Live Kernal Dump collection in Task Manager
  • New touch keyboard display settings
  • CABC for laptops and 2-n-1 devices
  • A new USB4 settings page
  • A new presence sensor privacy setting
  • Improved search within Settings
  • PRT SCR now opens Snipping Tool by default
  • A new limit for Multitasking tabs to 20
  • Improved search suggestions
  • Improved performance for high report rate mice
  • Changes to virtual memory ranges
