Microsoft often uses the Dev Channel of the Windows Insider Program to release the latest Windows 11 features. However, the company may hide some of these features in code till it is ready to deploy them broadly or not.
This is the case with the build that Microsoft released yesterday (build 25284) which featured a new widget for Messenger. What was not included in the official changelog is a new feature dubbed Fix problems using Windows Update which is essentially in place to help users reinstall the build that is currently installed without using an installation media as spotted by PhantomOcean3 on Twitter.

The neat feature lets users reinstall the currently installed build using the files from Windows Update. This cancels out the tedious and technical process that users have to go through when performing an in-place upgrade.
If Microsoft decides to release this feature, perhaps through another build, users will be able to upgrade their devices by simply heading over to the Settings App and accessing them via the Windows Update. Let us know what you think about this feature below.
