Like many of the big A-list game publishers out there (Electronic Arts comes to mind with its EA Play), Ubisoft has its own subscription service called Ubisoft+. Back in January it was reported by various gaming news outlets that the service would be coming to Xbox. While there hasn’t been any further word since, it’s beginning to look like the news might finally be coming to fruition in the near future.
ALumia_Italia posted a tweet featuring the Ubisoft+ logo on August 21. While this may not seem like much to go on, ALumia_Italia is usually reliable.

Many are taking this as a suggestion that the Ubisoft’s subscription service on Xbox consoles is imminent.
Similar to EA Play, Ubisoft+ features an extensive catalog of the company’s games for PC at $14.99 per month. These include classic titles from Ubisoft’s back catalog as well as day one access to premium editions of new game releases—over 100 games in all, some of which can be cloud-streamed. There is also an upgraded tier known as Ubisoft+ Classics that offers access to even more games.
The availability of Ubisoft+ would be a nice addition indeed for gamers on Xbox consoles. If Ubisoft+ were to join EA Play on Xbox Game Pass at some point thereafter, it would be a massive boon for Microsoft’s gaming service.
