Microsoft is planning to introduce some visual refreshes to PowerToys Settings, which should bring the overall design in line with the upcoming Windows 11 OS. The PowerToys design team has recently shared another early look at a revamped PowerToys Settings app on Twitter.
As you can see in the teaser video below, this new visual refresh for the PowerToys Settings app draws many UI elements from the Windows 11 design language. It includes modern icons, new Windows UI controls as well as various accessibility improvements for PowerToys users.
Wrapping up a PR with a new UX for #PowerToys Settings – fresh look and feel, replicating @windows 11 Settings, new @WindowsUI controls, accessibility improvements and easier to maintain :)!

Keep in mind that this PowerToys Settings UI update is still a work in progress, and the PowerToys team is encouraging users to provide feedback on the GitHub issues page. We hope that these changes will first begin showing up for preview users in the coming weeks before rolling out to everyone in the Stable releases.
In case you missed it, Microsoft has been sharing early looks at its redesigned apps in Windows 11 over the past couple of weeks. This includes a new Snipping Tool, Paint app, and Focus Sessions. Microsoft Office is also getting a Fluent design update on both Windows 10 and Windows 11.
