Minecraft Dungeons was released on Tuesday on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Windows, and developer Mojang is striking the iron while it’s hot by sharing more details about the dungeon crawler’s two DLCs today. Jungle Awakens, the first additional content for Minecraft Dungeons will be available in July.
“In this adventure, you’ll enter a distant, dangerous jungle to fight a mysterious power in three new missions. To defeat the terrors hidden among the vines, you’ll have new weapons, armor, and artifacts at your disposal,” Mojang said today.
Creeping Winter, the game’s second DLC will be available “later this year,” and Mojang didn’t share more details about it today. The two DLCs will be included for free with the $29.99 Hero Edition of the game, but Mojang also said today that they’re working on “cool new free content for Minecraft Dungeons that everyone will receive, regardless of edition.”
For those of you wondering about support cross-play multiplayer support, Mojang said today that Minecraft Dungeons should get it “in the coming weeks.” The game can be played in co-op with up to four players, and soon Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC players will be able to have fun together.
