No surprises here, Windows Phone market share continues to fall

After Microsoft announced that Windows Phones would no longer be supported (and not even getting Windows 10 on ARM), it’s no surprise that Windows Phone market share has been falling quickly. Microsoft’s Windows Phone market share to slide to just 1% in the UK (GB), down from 4.3%. Windows Phone market share continues to slide across the board in every country as more Windows Phone users jump ship to other platforms.Microsoft, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 Mobile, Windows 10, WIndows PhoneMicrosoft has been moving away from Windows 10 Mobile for some time and instead focusing on developing Windows 10 on ARM. With help from Qualcomm, Microsoft is looking to release a Windows 10 on ARM device, although probably not a “phone,” later this year. The IDC already reported a sharp decline in Windows Phone shipments this year, so this latest information is nothing new. What are your thoughts?
