Bing has introduced a quick way for the users to connect with their bank to get account information and mini statement from within the search results.
When you search for any major bank in India on Bing, you get an option to give a missed call to the bank for account balance or to enquire about the mini statement. Essentially, this dials out the bank’s mobile-banking number and you don’t need to memorize the numbers or look through your contacts to dig the same. In few seconds, you get your account information as an SMS.
This new integration is live in India and available on mobile browsers across the platforms. This of course works if you’re registered for mobile-banking with your bank, and the number you’re dialling from is also updated in their records.
Bing has been doing a lot of work in bringing more actionable information right up to save time and improve user experience. What do you think of this nifty, little addition?
