The Latitude line has been Dell’s premium business class laptop for some time now, but they haven’t always been the easiest on the eyes. With the redesigned Latitude 13 7000 series, Dell tried taking the things that made its XPS 13 great and translate that to the specific needs of a business class device.
Powered by a low powered Intel Core M series CPU, the fanless Latitude 13 7370 is an understated device. Our review unit is clad entirely in black, soft-touch carbon fiber and is great to hold and use. It can be configured with all the standards like faster CPUs, more storage, and more memory, as well as built-in LTE support, fingerprint reader and an optional aluminum backing to the LCD. The screen is also covered in an anti-glare coating, regardless of whether you go with the 1080p non-touch screen or the higher resolution 3200 x 1800 touchscreen panel.
There’s also plenty of support for Enterprise level security and management standards. Intel vPro, TPM 2.0, Dell ControlVault, Computrace, a MIL-STD 801G rated enclosure and WiGig support are all present. There’s a lot of value in this machine for the right type of user, but we’re going to take a closer look in a few days with a full review.
