The two also discuss the U.S. Presidential election results, and what it could mean for Microsoft’s business.

Segment 1: Xbox Series X Review (4:23-18:17)

In this first segment, Arif and Kareem recap our own Laurent Giret’s review of the Xbox Series X. The two get into Laurent’s thoughts about the overall hardware, the software, the system performance, as gaming experience Laurent had when he reviewed the next-gen console. There’s also talk about some things Lauren’t didn’t like, and how the console could have been improved

Segment 2: Surface Pro 8 Prototype? (18:17-24:22)

Next up, is chatter about a Surface Pro 8 Prototype which recently surfaced on eBay. Arif and Kareem chat about if this listing and if the prototype were too good to be true. They also get into their thoughts on what Microsoft could actually be working on for the next version of the main Surface Pro Lineup.

Segment 3: Microsoft Teams updates (24:22-27:50)

Eager about new features for Teams? In this segment, Arif and Kareem chat about some rumored new features for Teams. That includes multi-account support, as well as the ability to reply to a specific message and quote it in the desktop app on Windows and Mac or Linux. There’s also chat about the end-of-the-line for the Teams web app on IE11, too.

The Week Ahead (27:50-end)

To end the OnPodcast, there’s The Week Ahead segment. In this special segment, Arif and Kareem chat about some of the editorial stuff planned for OnMSFT this week. Arif and Kareem will mention Microsoft’s Xbox Series X Launch day events, Apple’s November 10 event, as well as Arif’s reasoning behind buying an iPhone 12 Pro Max. Oh, and let us not forget the Presidential election results, too, and what it could mean for Microsoft’s business.
