Words With Friends is an extremely popular strategy game that has been available for quite some time on iOS and Android, with the app arriving on Windows Phone 8.1 back in June. Now, the popular game is available in the Windows Store for Windows 8.1 devices.

You can chat with your friends in-game (you can brag about how awesome your skills are), access your games across all your devices (which means you can play on Windows Phone too!) and download to access the new experience which is fully backwards compatible with your current game.
The game is free and tests your vocabulary skills. You can connect with players with similar skill sets via Smart Match, or play a game side-by-side with a friend on your Windows 8.1 tablet via Pass & Play.
