Xbox Game Pass apps update on iOS and Android with a new design and new features

The iOS and Android Xbox Game Pass apps updated today with a complete design revamp (see above image), streamlined functionality, and new accessibility options.

Here’s the full release notes for both versions:

  • Brand new look, same great app! Complete visual makeover and simplified browsing, plus quicker game installation to the device you want.
  • Remote install: choose the Xbox or PC for game installation without changing your default console in Settings.
  • Play later: games are no longer automatically added to your Play later list when you install them remotely to your devices.
  • Accessibility: we’re committed to making the app accessible to everyone. You’ll find a new option for accessibility in Settings.

The Xbox Game Pass apps are, as their names imply, used to manage video games within the Xbox Game Pass library and initiate downloads on their devices.

Do you use the mobile Xbox Game Pass apps or do you simply use your Xbox console and Windows 10 PC? Let us know in the comments below and then follow us on Pinterest and Facebook for more Xbox gaming news.
