The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt now available for digital pre-order on Xbox One

Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is now available for digital pre-order ahead of its official May 19th release date. The Witcher 3 is a long-awaited followup in the Witcher series and there has been a lot of buzz surrounding the additional content that CD Projekt Red will include in the Expansion Pack.

CD Projekt Red recently released a gameplay trailer showing some sections of The Witcher 3’s gameplay and the gigantic world within the game. The trailer is rated M for mature gamers only and features a variety of mature content. The game touches on a variety of topics, including; racism, war crimes, fantasy, magic, monsters, and more.

As gamers once again play as Geralt, they will enter an open world structure of almost endless potential. As for monsters, judging by the trailer, it looks like no one is spared as the countryside is littered with monsters that prey on merchants and just about anyone that happens to be at the wrong place, at the wrong time.

The Expansion Pack will include two additional adventures: Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. Hearts of Stone will take Geralt on a 10-hour adventure through the wild and mysterious No Man’s Land as well as Oxenfurt to complete a contract for the Man of Glass. Blood and Wine is bigger, with a 20-hour storyline, introducing a new region called Toussaint, where Geralt will go to a foreign place unmarred by war, but where a dark secret awaits. The Expansion Pass will offer gamers new content, gear, and foes not offers gamers new content, gear, characters, and foes. Hearts of Stone is set to be released in October 2015. While, Blood and Wine, will be released sometime in early 2016.
