A new extension that was made available for Google Chrome users recently aimed to enable Windows Timeline support for Chrome. Unfortunately, the extension developer, Dominic Maas, received a takedown request shortly after due to a trademark violation for using the name “Windows” in the name of the extension. Subsequently, Google pulled the extension from the Chrome Web Store.
Following the takedown, Maas worked on an update to the extension that would make it compliant with the request. As a result, the extension has now changed name to “Timeline Support”.
