The imo chat app for Windows phone has updated to Version 1.1.6.0 which has fixed a front-facing camera bug and improved the quality and performance of video calls. Imo works in a similar way to WhatApp and Line and allows for smartphone users to communicate with contacts without incurring additional carrier fees as could happen when sending an SMS or making a traditional phone call. Here’s its official description:
Message and video chat with your friends and family for free, no matter what device they are on! Make high-quality video and voice calls between Windows, Android and iPhone. Send unlimited messages and make free video and voice calls over your 2G, 3G, 4G or Wi-Fi connection. Share photos and videos. Express yourself with hundreds of free stickers! Encrypted chats and calls. Avoid SMS and phone call charges.
