A few weeks ago at Build 2016, Microsoft announced an upcoming Anniversary Update for Windows 10. Today on Twitter, Xbox’s Mike Ybarra announced that the upcoming Windows Anniversary 10 update will be coming to preview users on Xbox one at the end of May or early June.

According to Mike, this update is expected to bring key gaming features to the Xbox One. However, as announced at Build, the Anniversary Update should also eventually introduce Universal Windows Apps to the Xbox One platform. In addition, the Anniversary update should also allow retail Xbox One consoles to be converted into devkits for developers at home to test apps and games.
The May and Early June timeline is very close to Microsoft’s E3 event, so more details on what the full update for preview members might have to offer might appear soon. Until then, you can stay tuned to us at our Xbox News Hub for more Xbox News and information.
