The Windows Insider program has been busy today, releasing a Windows 10 22H2 Release Preview build, two Windows 11 Beta Channel builds, and a Windows 11 Dev Channel build, upping the build number to 25169.
Windows 11 Dev Channel build 25169 introduces a new IT focused feature, “Multi-app kiosk mode,” that allows IT admins lock down devices based on user types, so a single device could offer some features to a front line worker or workers, but lock down others, while allowing more control to managers or administrators, for example.
Windows Spotlight gets some love with a new Windows Spotlight theme:
- You can now enable Windows Spotlight on the desktop via a brand-new Windows Spotlight theme now included in the latest builds in the Dev Channel under Settings > Personalization and Settings > Personalization > Themes. Additionally, you can make your own custom themes with Windows Spotlight’s rotating images as well.
The new build also comes with a long list of fixes, check them out in the blog post.
