After yesterday’s new Canary Channel build dropped, today’s it’s the Beta Channel’s turn as Windows 11 Insider builds 22621.2048 (new features off by default) and 22631.2048 (new features rolling out) are now available.
The big news for build 22631.2048 is the introduction of Gallery for File Explorer. Similar to the All Photos view in the Photos app, Gallery is “designed to make it easy to access your photo collection.”
In addition, build 22631 gets a versioning update, bumping the version number in Settings > System > About to 23H2, this year’s annual feature update.
The Microsoft Store is also being updated for all Windows Insider channels to include new pricing information and the Microsoft Store AI Hub.
