Back at the Microsoft event in NYC in October, Microsoft shared that they would be making people the center attraction with the Windows 10 Creators Update. Unfortunately, today, Dona Sarkar and the Windows Insider team have announced that the Windows 10 People experience will be delayed until after the Creators Update.
The note of the delay in the much-anticipated Windows 10 “My People” feature was made in the initial post which announced Windows 10 Build 15014. Dona notes:
As we shared at our event in October, we’re excited to bring your people to the front and center of your computing experience in Windows with the My People experience. Our goal with Windows is to deliver experiences you’ll love and we’ve made the decision to hold this feature for the next major update to Windows.
The news means that the “My People” feature will make it to the next featured update to Windows 10, codenamed Redstone 3. With the Creators Update coming in the Spring, one would assume this means that the general public, and Windows Insiders, will not be able to get their hands on the goodness of “My People” on or around after the Fall.
