Earlier today, Gabe Aul of the Windows team went on a Twitter barrage trying to crowdsource an opinion on whether or not to publish a build today. Well, the Insiders have spoken, and we’re getting Windows 10 Mobile build 10572.
#WindowsInsiders have spoken 🙂 Preparing to release 10572. It will take about 3.5hrs for publishing prep. Will tweet again as we get close.

Right now, Windows 10 Mobile build 10572 is rolling out to the Fast Ring for users. For Insiders on the most recent build 10536 and 10549 that appeared recently, there is a bit of a caveat for upgrading. Put simply, you can’t, at least not directly.
Part of Gabe’s earlier contention for releasing the build was due to a pre-existing bug that forces users to roll back to Windows Phone 8.1 before upgrading to more recent builds. The bug is still present, and the procedure for upgrading remains. Users will need to roll back to Windows Phone 8.1 using the Windows Devices Recovery Tool, then go through the full upgrade path to receive build 10572.
Gabe also mentioned that the Windows team is also prepared to deliver an even newer build that remedies the upgrade bug. For the more patient Insider, Windows 10 Mobile Insider build 10575 will is scheduled for release on Tuesday of next week.
Happy downloading, Insiders!
