Windows 10

Microsoft is planning to release a new build of Windows 10 Mobile tomorrow for fast ring insiders which includes a number of features and enhancements over the last public preview released over a month ago. However this time there’s a catch, those who want to install this build will need to reset to Windows Phone 8.1 as 10080 has an upgrade bug which the company is working on.

If you don’t want to reset, stick with 10080 for the time being. Microsoft claims they are working on a fix and will push out a new build in the near future for 10080 users. If you can’t wait however, you can use the Windows Phone Reset Tool to go back to Windows Phone 8.1 and upgrade with the Windows Insider app from there.

Thanks all, given that people who don’t want to roll back to 8.1 won’t have to – we’re going to release 10136 to Fast.

Will you be upgrading to 10136?
